This beautiful vase arrangement was ordered especially for you. We know from
experience how much you will enjoy this beautiful gift of nature. Please take care
and follow our tips on how to enjoy your floral gift better.
1. Keep the flowers away from drafts (ex., Ceiling fans, open windows), away from heat and
sunlight.
2. Keeping the flowers in the coolest part of the room (an air-conditioned room) is best.
3. On the second day, dump all the water from the vase (making sure to keep all flowers
together) Rinse the stems and the vase.
4. Open the packet of floral food and put half of the packet into the vase, and fill with lukewarm water
warm water.
5. Last step, remove each flower and recut ½ inch off the stem diagonally under water or
under running water and insert the stem back in the vase immediately (this is important,
By doing this, you are cutting the bacteria off the stem, allowing water to travel up the
stem of the flowers, thereby giving extended life to your flowers). This should be
repeated in 2-3 days.
6. If you received your bouquet at a different location, other than home, DO NOT LEAVE
THEM IN THE CAR!!! I The heat will kill your flowers.
Special Note
If the flower droops, it does not mean it is old. It usually indicates that air is trapped in the
stem, and the water plus the food cannot flow to the head of the flower. Please recut the
stem immediately under water or running water. Then submerge the entire flower in a
basin or shallow pan of water. About 100 degrees for 90 minutes, be sure to keep the head
straight, as this will allow the flower in the vase without allowing the stem end to dry out.
